Parent Mental Health
Support Group (ViRtual)

Adults 18+ | $20/Person
Tuesdays 8-9 pm (VIRTUAL)

How many times have you heard the analogy “Put on your own oxygen mask before assisting others” to describe parenting? We all know taking care of our own emotional needs will make us better parents, but we don’t have the time because… we are busy parenting. As a parent myself, I understand this dilemma. I want to help make taking care of your mental health fit into your life. I am passionate about helping parents feel better both for themselves and for their families. We will discuss common mental health challenges like anxiety and depression. We will talk about ways to improve our moods, work, relationships, and parenting. We will listen to each other and share how things are really going. Participants are expected to maintain an open and respectful attitude towards each other. Sessions are held weekly and participants can register for sessions one at a time, or several at a time. You can sign up using the button to the right, by creating an account on our online booking site, then selecting available sessions from the calendar.

Move Together

Adults 18+ | $35/Person

Move Together is a Dance/Movement Therapy group for Adults (18+) with disabilities. Sessions are 60 minutes, held weekly at our Dover office, led by a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist. A typical session will include an introductory time to select music, go over safety concerns, and address any physical injuries or needed accommodations. Next, we will have a facilitator-led warm up. After that, we can really loosen up and move! Movement might include improvisational work, creating and sharing expressive movements for the group to witness, or just bopping along to the beat together. Participants are welcome to stay seated in a chair during sessions or find a position on the floor that is comfortable. Movement can be full-bodied or it can be contained to certain areas like the hands or feet, depending on the individual’s range of motion. All ability levels are welcome. Participants can register for one or several sessions on our online booking page. Intake paperwork is required for all first-time participants.
